Department of Health

The Government is providing regular COVID-19 updates about protective measures and the spread of the disease via the Department of Health website:
Statistics and health alerts.
Social distancing guidance.

A Statement of Intent and fact sheet reassuring educators the federal government will take a flexible approach to compliance issues where obligations cannot be met due to the COVID-19 pandemic (released 10 August 2020).

Results from MMG Education's home-based learning surveys
In early 2020, AHISA subsided a series of surveys for members' schools to collect information on remote learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. MMG have prepared a detailed report and a summary, An infographic on the positives and difficulties of home learning is also available.
AHISA member survey report — schooling and extreme events
In May 2020, the House of Representatives Education Committee invited submissions on lessons learned from online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a view to applying these learnings in remote and complex environments. This report from a survey of members informed AHISA's submission.
